I currently believe the dream means that Islam (The Kaaba) has been demolished by the Earthquake of Modernity.
And because the ground has shifted, today’s Muslims must rebuild the Kaaba on the current epistemic foundation.
The first block that sits on that foundation is Belief in God.
The upper levels of the Kaaba include such things as Fiqh, Sufism, Governance.
Importantly! The Kaaba when put back together, shouldn’t look all that different from before it fell down.

What did your initial interpretation mean as to you assumed 1st principles.. need to be revisited..is it as your current tafseer of it belief in Allah..solidified again!?
…am trying to think of a tafseer even though it requires ilm…but only thought that enters mind is zu suwaqatayn dismantling it..end times as in current or post modernity times..!!
