Salam and bismillah.
In Surah Furqan Aya 30, the Prophet (saws) complains about those who taking the Quran of little account.
In my opinion we are just as guilty of this.
A reason why I believe we are guilty of this has to do with our lack of realization at the sheer impossibility of the Quran emerging from consciousness.
If consciousness is a form of Type 2 emergence which can be predicted by underlying rules and if the Quran is so different from the Arabic of the time then its emergence defies those rules and it ought to be considered the only known example of Type 3 emergence.
Unfortunately humans are extemely guilty of inflating our experience of consciousness to magical levels…..just watch Dennett if you hope to try and humble those tendencies.
It is unfortunate because by inflating consciousness we are deflating the impossibility and stupendousness of the Quran emerging from consciousness.
So before we can really and truly start to appreciate the momentousness of the Quran’s Revelation, we really need to humble our expectations of ourselves and realize we may be nothing more than fancy AI (at least in this life).
